TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the thing that matters. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. But factor into how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
